Random thought or two

There may not be too many updates tonight. I fell behind on my homework because I took time replying to comments on another site.. Oops.

For some reason, this thought popped into my head: A couple years back, I worked with a man who was half Syrian, and his last name reflected this. When I left that job and moved to Cincinnati, I used him as a reference to the jobs I applied for. I don't think I got hired when I used him as a reference, but when I dropped him for references with non-arab names, I eventually landed a position. I'm trying to remember whether or not I used his name has a reference for that position.. I can't check, unfortunately. I don't think I did, though. Hm. Yeah, I guess I shouldn't exactly be surprised, but, you know...
