Are people fucking blind or something?

The idea that Iraq today is suffering because of America's liberation is nonsensical unless you believe that, if Saddam were back in power, life in Iraq would be better. Is that how much these liberals hate George W. Bush?

This is absolutely the stupidest thing I've heard today. And unlike normal people, I've already had a full day of work with an irate phone call under my belt. Just because Iraq would suffer more under Saddam doesn't mean that they aren't suffering under Bush; especially when it's Bush who invaded the country, didn't plan properly for its occupation, allowed the existence of torture and rape rooms to continue, and there's no sign of when the violence perpetrated by all sides will abate. To equate sufffering solely with Saddam is "nonsensical," because ANYBODY can cause suffering. Just because the situation in Iraq under Bush is better than it would be under Saddam doesn't mean everyone there is skipping around and smelling roses. And that isn't, "how much these liberals hate George W. Bush?", it's fucking reality. Something which seems to allude the right.
