Pelosi to Bush: Provide steady leadership on Sudanese Crisis

I'm happy to see a high ranking Democrat speak out about the crisis in Sudan. And to give the Republicans some credit, Colin Powell is visiting the region. Given how long this crisis has gone on for, though, some may consider Colin's trip to be too little, too late. Pelosi is right, Bush has to put together a plan and play a leadership role in stopping the Sudanese crisis from becoming another Rwanda, another genocide. He's dragged his feet on this for too long, and maybe it's not fair that the US has to take such a large role in the affairs of another nation, but a million lives could hang in the balance here. I surely don't mind my tax dollars going to save a million people. Do you?
