The economy's doing great!

Any column that begins with this sentence is a must read: "One of the great mysteries in my life is how so many Republicans read the Wall Street Journal and yet remain Republican."

So read it. It looks behind the numbers of our supposed economic upsurge to prove that those who were living paycheck to paycheck in before Bush's tax cuts are still doing so. In fact, with food and gas prices on the rise, they could be doing worse. Speaking of which, I have less than half a tank of gas and $14 to last me the rest of the week, and I still need to get a couple more lunches for work. Looks like I won't be blowing my money on any frivolous material crap this week.
