Bodycount: One Thousand and One. And counting.

It was only Monday when I reported that 979 of our soldiers had died in Iraq. Two days later, we have the blood of 22 more deaths on our hands. That just seems unfortunately quick.

Antiwar.com tells us that 862 soldiers have died since Bush stood under his "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" banner, 541 since we captured Saddam, and 144 since we supposedly gave Iraq their sovereignty on 6/29/04. I'm still focusing on the first number I listed... If the mission was so fucking accomplished, then how come 862 soliders have needlessly died since Bush wasted a few million taxpayer dollars in a staged photo-op to launch his campaign? Is there really anything more sick than this?
