Gosh, an election year really is only a few days away..

The Bush administration is looking at making larger SUVs, such as the Hummer H2, Ford Excursion and GMC Suburban, and large pickup trucks comply with federal fuel economy standards for the first time.

Hey, don't get me wrong, if Bush wants to do this then I support his efforts at improving fue economy. However, I'll believe it when I see it. This article reeks of a publicity stunt during an election year, a position that Bush can take to undercut the Democratic candidates enovironmental stance, and then bury if he gets reelected.
