It's a Mad, Mad World

My government knows what's best for me. When Canadian officials found one cow in Alberta infected with mad cow disease, the US banned Canadian beef exports. They didn't want American citizens getting BSE.

But now when Mad Cow appears in a cow on an American farm, don't worry! Everything is fine! Continue to eat mass quantities of American beef while other countries ban it!

Hm. One cow in Canada has BSE and we ban Canadian beef, but one cow in America has BSE and we're not supposed to worry? Fuck that. New New Year's Resolution: no beef from this continient.
