Ohio to gays and lesbians: Fuck you

Hm, Ohio sure has been a hot topic here at L/M this week. What's news there now? Gay Marriage has been banned in a bill that only needs a signature from Governor Taft, who will sign it.

Lawmakers gave final approval Wednesday to a measure banning gay marriage and prohibiting state employees from getting benefits for domestic partners.

The bill is considered among the most far-reaching in the nation because of the benefits ban, which applies to unmarried heterosexual and homosexual couples.

This bill goes beyond banning gay marriage, it practically mandates marriage for hetrosexuals. Ohio just continues to shift farther and farther to the right.
