Gloating
[Warning: Baseball/Red Sox blogging ahead.]
Seeing the Yankees $25 million a year third baseman A-Hole, excuse me, A-Rod, toss a ball into left field and allowing a run to come in was simply a thing of beauty. As if that wasn't bad enough, Matsui decided he can't catch pop flies. I couldn't stop laughing.
Memo to the Yankees: This payroll-bloated team is supposed to win it all in 2004? You come into Boston and the only game you can win is when you slammed a pitcher who had 10 days rest. You couldn't beat the replacement fifth starter, you didn't have to face Pedro, plus Nomah and Nixon weren't even in the lineups. Hell, Boston's bench was depleted by the 4th game and you still couldn't muster a win in a game you reasonably had in the bag.
Yankees suck. This is going to be a great season. :)
