When will they stop?

Israel threatens to go beyond their borders, into Syria and Lebanon, to attack Hamas and Hezbollah. Excuse me while I shit a brick. When is the Bush administration going to take Sharon on its knee, bend him over, take the paddle and and shout, "NO! BAD DOGGY!" This is insane. Suppose Israel attacks Syria and Lebanon, and not only do terrorist groups retaliate but other Arab nations follow suit? Do we really want to let Israel risk starting World War III? I understand they're pissed off about suicide bombers, I hate them too; but this is getting ridiculous.
