Blog Gender Wars, part II

Related to a discussion here a couple weeks ago is this post by Trish Wilson on feministe. I wish I had time to read all the comments to it right now, but I've spent too much time this morning reading things that I won't post about yet. (When you're interested in foreign policy, you have a lot of reading to do.) I'll do so tomorrow morning, because this is an issue that's not going to go away.

While my post questioned the lack of political blogs by women, Trish takes on big media and asks why only blogs by men seem to get noticed. I think it's a fair question. And now I really want to read the comments to it... No, no, no, must stop, have to look at other news. Sigh.

In other gender disparity news, "woman earn[ed] less than 74 cents for every dollar earned by a man."

And sexual assaults in the Army are climbing.
