Hateful respect

I hate everything said in this anti-Kerry editorial published in the Telegraph, but reading it makes me jealous about the quality of the media across the pond. It seems like columnists in the British press can say whatever they please. For example, they call James Carville the "former skinhead-in-chief to Bill Clinton," and label the New York Times' Maureen Dowd as "the paper's elderly schoolgirl columnist." This stuff is just great; their media can actually come out and be up front about their biases, instead of tiptoeing around them while trying to pretend that they are "fair and balanced." If the US media could only be this open.
