The nation is on terrorist alert! But only certain buildings! And only on certain days! And certain times of the day! Certainly you'll take us seriously! For certain!

Before I read about these latest terrorist threats, Id have to take them seriously. So I admit that I haven't read about them yet, and I'd be hardpressed to start because I honestly don't care. In the past, these alerts have been raised due to increased terrorist "chatter." Sometimes, and it seems like I'm the only person on the left willing to admit this, the threats are well-founded. But at other times it just seems ridiculous, and right now, I would expect there to be increased terrorist "chatter." There's a little thing called the Olympics coming up, and the city of Athens mine as well place a big, red bullseye around itself. That's why the "chatter" has increased.
