Quick! - What happens when we discover that another nation has a mole in sensitive US defense installations? If that nation is Russia in 2001, we'll never hear the end of it. But, for some odd reason, I don't think they will be much of an uproar if the nation is Israel in 2003.

The FBI is investigating a Pentagon analyst suspected of being an Israeli spy who passed secret documents about Iran to the Jewish state, U.S. government sources said Friday.

The officials told Reuters the analyst was connected to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld's office and is suspected of passing the documents to Israel via the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the powerful pro-Israel lobby in Washington.

Couldn't they just ask nicely?
