The Truth Distorted Bear

Over at the Truth Laid Bear, NZ Bear is using this graph to track how much media attention the Swift Boat Vets have received.

Believe it or not, this graph is supposed to be the crux of NZ Bear's argument that the Swift Boat Vets have received little media coverage. Tying this in with the same complaints from Instapundit earlier this week, I'm left with one question: Are the Republicans on crack or what?

Stretching back to August 8th, this graph shows thousands upon thousands of stories about the Swift Boat Vets in the mainstream press. Thousands. It absolutely astounds me that NZ Bear can create a graph like this in an attempt to support his arguments. His own creation clearly shows how wrong he is, and that this story has received massive amounts of media coverage. Yet NZ Bear, Instapundit, and the rest of their Republican ilk continue to claim the opposite. And worse, other people buy this line of bullshit.

I honestly don't get it how these people can be taken seriously after staging such ridiculous arguments.
