The president said he was hoping that the visit by the pro-America Iraqi leader -- Bush will meet with Allawi at the White House on Thursday -- will convince Americans that "progress is being made" in Iraq despite grim television images of violence there.

What a great idea! Maybe Bush should invite other Iraqi leaders to the White House! You know, all those great leaders that run the parts of Iraq where US troops and Iraqi police aren't allowed! I can't wait for Bush's photo-op with the mayor of Fallujah.
