Spiiiiiinnnn!

After sorting through some right wing commentary which tries spinning Bush's debate disaster into some sort of victory, I can't help but think of one thing: Could you imagine what the wingnuts would be saying if roles were reversed? IE: Bush presented himself in the manner Kerry did, and Kerry presented himself as a speaker who leaned on his lectern while he constantly fumbled for words? We wouldn't hear the end of it. We would be inundated with assertions that Kerry is unintelligent, unpresidential, and how anybody who can't even pronounce "mullah" correctly shouldn't be taken seriously. Rush, Hannity, and Savage would all air clips of his mistakes and make fun of him for days on end. Instapundit would provide hundreds of links to shitty little right wing blogs who will all stick a fork in Kerry's campaign.

But if Bush comes across as a bumbling fool, that's just swell. Who wouldn't want a man who can't fucking talk as our president?
