Is Bush lying to the military to pad his votes?

US extends soldiers' Iraq duties: "The US Defense Department has said that 6,500 US troops have had their tours of duty in Iraq extended by two months." You've gotta love the timing of this annoucment. It was probably known at least a week ago that these soldiers wouldn't be going home, but hey, why tell them when they still have time to vote?
