The driving up of drive-offs

As gas prices continue to rise, so do the number of people filling up and driving away without paying for it. Somehow, I just can't feel sorry for the gas monopoly companies on this one, seeing that every time the gas prices go up, somehow their profits mysteriously go up. I realize that part of the equation when factoring how much gas is depends upon how much it's selling for on the world market, but their profits have gone up quite a bit, while the prices of gas seem to rise at the same time and stay uniform to each other no matter what station you goto. It makes you wonder.

Golly, who wouldn't want to run away from these reasonable prices? This horror story comes to us from California, coming to a state near you this summer.

One more note: OPEC meets this wednesday, they will decide then if oil production will be cut and by how much.
