National Perpetual Fund Drives

It seems like everytime I turn on my local NPR station, they are having another fund drive. Their news coverage hasn't improved at all, and now since they are begging for money every minute of the day, there's even less news, which in turn leaves me less of a reason to donate. It's come to the point where I can flip the dial to a commercial station and get more news; I'll hear the same exact national news, and the local news coverage is much better. Maybe NPR should focus less on money grubbing and more an doing their actual jobs.
