Barry Bonds has a .628 On Base Percentage. Whenever he comes to the plate, there's a 63% chance that he'll make it onto base, whether by hit or one of his 70 intentional walks. That's just fucking sick.
And five in a row for the Sox. Goddamn, it's about time their offensive came together and clobbered some teams. Maybe they could trade for Barry Bonds and score 20 runs a game. ;>
Think about how good a Sox team with Bonds on it would be. Bonds hitting third, Manny fourth, Ortiz fifth. You can't intentionally walk any of them, because Nomah would be hitting sixth. Holy crap. One can dream, can't he?
