So Blogger is back up...
...without even so much as an apology from the "service" for being completely down the past 14 hours.
Fuckers.
For archive purposes, here's the posts I made last night. Just to get them in Blogger's database while I cross my fingers in hopes that the "service" can stay up for another 14 hours...
More proof that Drudge and the Right are full of shit
More on BangFuckBoomGateâ„¢ from the AP:
At the Pentagon, an official who monitors developments in Iraq said US-led coalition troops had searched Al-Qaqaa in the immediate aftermath of the March 2003 invasion and confirmed that the explosives, which had been under IAEA seal since 1991, were intact. Thereafter the site was not secured by U.S. forces, the official said, also speaking on condition of anonymity.
This paragraph is a direct contradiction to Drudge and the spin that the Right has put on the story. In other words: Drudge is a big, fat liar.
The only question that remains is whather or not the Right will start giving a shit about the actual story, not the spin or when it was published. Do they even care that Bush could have prevented the looting of explosives that may be killing US soldiers?
Defining "Conflict of Interest"
From a WaPo article on voting conflicts in Ohio:
"You manage against systemic choking," said Blackwell, whom Democrats have criticized for his dual role as co-chairman of Bush's reelection campaign in Ohio.
Okay, run that by me again? The same man who declared thousands of voter registration cards from Democratic counties invalid because they were on the wrong paper stock, the same man who declared provisional ballots null and void unless the voter casts them from the precient they live in, is the same man who runs the Bush/Cheney '04 campaign for Ohio?
Head Explosion Alert (HEA) = Severe.
Caption it!
Bush takes a massive dump while speaking on the campaign trail today. His supporters say this proves that his opponent, John Kerry, is the only candidate still full of shit.
Maybe this is how we need to deal with the GOP

Taiwan lawmaker Chen Tsung-yi (L) from the ruling Democratic Progressive Party throws a book at opposition legislators after a food fight erupted in parliament, October 26, 2004. The lawmakers hurled their lunch boxes at each other in a quarrel over whether to include an $18 billion U.S. arms budget on the legislative agenda for Friday. (Reuters)
Fark Headline of the Day
"According to Stanford soph coed, 'The pyramid order of dorm essentials goes oxygen, pizza, caffeine, condoms' "
The Cardinals? Hah!
If there was ever a more overrated ballclub. The Sox had 8 errors in the first 2 games of this World Series, yet the Cardinals couldn't manage a win. And last night, Pedro flat out sucked in his first two innings of work, yet they couldn't score a run against him due to baserunning mistakes. It's like the Sox and Cardinals are in a contest to see who plays the sloppiest baseball. The Sox commit 4 errors in a game and the Cardinals say, "Oh yeah? We can do even worse!" Not that I mind. Hell, I never thought I'd see the Sox win a World Series in my lifetime, so if the Cardinals can maintain this level of play tomorrow then I'll be very, very happy. :)
