Wag the Falluja

Could somebody from the press please ask the president what is the strategy -- military strategy -- of launching a massive assault on Falluja a week after the election. Was there a credible military plan which determined that early November would be the best time to commit to this offensive? Or did the president purposely place our soldiers in danger for his own political gain by not attacking Falluja earlier? In not attacking, did the president not give precious time to the insurgents to prepare for an attack they surely knew was coming since there were rumors one would be launched after the election? Did the president purposely place our soldiers in harm's way to insure his own reelection?
