I've been listening to NPR this morning, and they report that the FCC has received over 10,000 letters on media deregulation. Out of all these letters, from citizens just like you and me, only 11 were in favor off media regulation. The remaining thousands were firmly against media deregulation. Two FCC commissioners have asked FCC head Michael Powell, son of Sectary of State Colin Powell, to postpone the June 2 FCC vote on media deregulation, but since he is a Bush administration stooge and not actually a public servant who cares about what the public says, he refused.

If you haven't informed your Congressperson of where you stand on media deregulation, do it now. Or email the FCC at fccinfo@fcc.gov. Why not call the FCC, too? 1-888-CALL-FCC.
