Bush's leadership against Terrorism
Atrios has the most succulent description:
The only great leadership Bush showed after 9/11 is that he miraculously failed to shit his pants while giving a speech post-9/11. Just about everything else has been a total disaster .
The rest of the post is just as hilarious. It would be good reading for Michele at A Small Victory the next time she complains about how the left (she leaves "left of center" liberals and Democrats out of her definition of "the Left") won't fight terrorism and does not stand for anything. Can we at least agree that Bush's policies against terrorism have not only been horrible, but have also left us unprotected for the next potential attack? Where's bin Laden and why did we go into Iraq before finding him? Just why the hell did we go into Iraq, anyway? Why is he in bed with Saudi royality who are in bed with al-Qa'ida? Why did he ignore the Hart/Rudman report? There's a zillion credible questions that can be asked about Bush's policy on terrorism, but unfortunately, bloggers on the right only seem to know how to wave the flag. Sorry, but if you're not ready to criticize Bush, then you're not ready to talk about terrorism.
