Bush: "Incorporating a huge, illegal black market of normal household goods right here in the good ole US of A is a great idea! Don't mess with Texas!"

OK, he never said that. But as far as I'm concerned, it's implied.

"It's an interesting idea," Bush told an "Ask President Bush" campaign forum here. "You know, I'm not exactly sure how big the national sales tax is going to have to be, but it's the kind of interesting idea that we ought to explore seriously."

He doesn't actually expect people to pay a national sales tax on goods, does he?
