One Republican decision I can wholeheartedly support

Via Majikthise, the religious right groups aiming to dispose of Pennsylvania Senator Specter, a moderate Republican who helped bork Bork and is in line to become the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, have acquired a new target: Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum. You know, the uber-conservative, third highest ranking GOP member of the Senate, friend to the religious right Santorum. So why target friends? Well, he committed the high crime of supporting Specter's reelection bid.

So is this the new direction the Republican Party is headed in? If you even slightly disagree with us, then we will destroy you? If so, then good. I hope they keep it up. Let's give the religious right all the power they need to tear the Republican Party apart, because that can only be a good thing.
