Apparently, kids, Ashcroft hasn't heard of a little thing called [ahem] CHECKS AND FUCKING BALANCES! Christ, I swear everybody in the Bush administration needs to be sent back to high school and forced to take a fucking Civics course. Maybe then the headlines won't seem like they're getting stupider by the minute.
