Somebody needs a hug

Over at Gadflyer, Cliff Schecter comments on David Brooks' latest New York Times column.

So The New York Times chose Brooks to write a column because he was supposedly a "thinking man's conservative." Is that code for a conservative who actually hasn't been married three times or used a vibrator on his own ass while sexually harassing an employee over the phone? Just wondering.
