Saturday morning linking

Rimone says it best: "CBS news takes it up the ass." She links to this NY Times article about CBS shitcanning a 60 Minutes story questioning why Bush took us into Iraq. Their reason why probably says more than the story itself: "We now believe it would be inappropriate to air the report so close to the presidential election," the spokeswoman, Kelli Edwards, said in a statement." Or, more to the point, it's "inappropriate" for the media to tell the truth about Bush's actions.

This is the only truthful thing I've heard from the press in a while.

Email CBS News and tell them to cut the shit and air the fucking story. Hell, give Kelli Edwards a call and let her know what you think - 212-975-6795. (Free Republic is good for something after all. Who knew?)

John P. Hoke reports that the Diebold computerized voting machines are so insecure that a chimpanzee has been trained to hack into them. It's official, the presidential election can be altered by a chimp. I'm sure the irony of this isn't lost on any of my readers.

And (sort of) on the lighter side of things, I've learned a lot from feministe's "Lessons on Gender and Language." The least important thing I learned was what a clambake for one is. Heh.

And she's truly the voice of objectivity

Get a load of the name of Ann Coulter's latest column: "DAN RATHER: FAIRLY UNBALANCED." At least Rather reports a story only when he thinks he has proof, instead of just making shit up.

Look! It's Monkey Mouse!

I couldn't resist... I am open to hearing potentially better captions, though. :)

..."In other news today, a UFO materialized to escort Bush back to his home planet. The President protested at first, but the aliens pacified him with a banana and he boarded the vessel without incident. When asked what's in the President's immediate future, the aliens said an 'anal probe' would be the first order of business."

This. Explains. Everything.

Jon Stewart on Bush's platform: "And as far as I'm concerned, their best argument for election is, Yes, I drove us into a brick wall. But I didn't blink!"

Redrafting the topic

Not to beat a dead horse, but another thing about the draft: To prove that Bush would reinstate the draft, I only took our situation in Iraq into account. I didn't even consider the possibilities of us or Israel going to war with Iran, or North Korea going apeshit and nuking either South Korea or Japan. (Or both.) Those two situations could reasonably become a reality after the election.

Then, of course, when the draft comes, they could change the draft age. I just turned 26 this year and thought I was safe from any future drafts, but I feel that my veneer of safety is gone completely if Bush wins a second term. That man could raise the draft age to 32.

The facts are really against Bush on this one. Many of us who have been right all along about the Iraq war have pointed out that our military is stretched incredibly thin, and now stuck in a hopeless war that's just going to turn into another Vietnam. What if we face an actual military threat? What do we do then?

Make no mistake: If Bush is releected, there will be a draft. Everyone under 30 whose reading this could end up in a bodybag before 2008. And to be selfish for a minute, this election isn't just a matter of life and death for Iraqis and members of our volunteer military, it's a matter of life and death for me, too. And I don't feel like dying right now. I'm sure many people in my position are thinking the same thing.

Argh

For some reason, whenever I try transferring my template from my machine at work, it fucks up. If I transfer the exact same template from my laptop, everything works fine. Why? I honestly don't know, and I'm not going to spend my morning pulling hairs out over it when I can just fix it after work. So the blog will be fixed around 9am. :)

Images are back, though.

...I just got home and recovered the template. Can ya tell? :)

My apologies...

Switching web hosting companies has caught me offguard. I switched loadedmouth.com's DNS settings last night believing that the settings would take affect in 24-36 hours, like they told me they would.

Instead, my DNS settings were changed in under 6 hours, while I was out. Imagine my surprise when I came to work at midnight and found that the website was offline... OK, OK, I wasn't too surprised something like this would happen. My fault for believing the "24-36 hours" line.

I'm going to see if I can recover my images and stylesheet from the old host while I'm at work. If I can't, then everything (should) be on my laptop at home and the site will be fully recovered tomorrow. For now, sit back and enjoy the Lynx-friendly version of the blog.

...got the files. Transferring from one server to another should take an hour or less.

Memo to Terry Francoma

Why in fuck was Pedro pitching in the 8th inning? He shouldn't even have been out there for the 7th, especially after giving up A-Rod's homerun distance bomb that was foul by 5 scant feet. You've got yourself quite a bullpen, you know. Use it. [/sox rant off]

Site News - Outage?

A question for people have their own domains: I'm switching to a different web host and I was wondering how long it took to change DNS settings? I've heard some horror stories about sites being down for a while, and since I have an ad running right now, I don't want Loaded Mouth to be down for an undetermined amount of time. How much of a horor story am I looking at?

...oops, fucking around with the DNS settings caused me to change it. Says it will take 24-36 hours. I'm downloading everything from LM to my laptop and uploading it to the new host. Let's hope all the permalinks stay "perma."

Now we're gonna party like it's 1939!

Headline: "Nazi holiday camp sold at auction."

Now if we apply the Iraq model...

We should be invading Zimbabwe at any time now! After all, President Mugabe is starving his citizens to death.

President Robert Mugabe's rosy claims of a bumper harvest were flatly contradicted by the mayor of Zimbabwe's second city yesterday when he disclosed that 162 people have starved to death in Bulawayo since January. ...

Jonathan Moyo, the information minister, called him a "liar" and insisted that starvation was unknown in Zimbabwe. "Malnutrition is just a case of not having a balanced diet," he told The Herald, an official daily.

"People in the USA are fat because they eat too many burgers. That's malnutrition." [That's right! Lemmie pat muh buddah.]

But the United Nations forecasts that Zimbabwe will grow only one million tons of grain this year, about half the country's needs. The mass seizure of white-owned farms has combined with drought to wreck agriculture.

Last year, almost half of Zimbabwe's 12 million people survived on international food aid.

A UN-led assessment mission estimates that five million Zimbabweans will need outside help again before the next harvest in March. But the regime claims a bumper harvest of 2.4 million tons of grain and has told international donors their help is no longer needed. Anyone contradicting this message is targeted for vilification.

Why debate the bleeding fucking obvious?

Yes, if Bush is reselected, the draft will be reinstated. One only needs to comprehend basic mathematics to figure this out. Just compare Iraq to Vietnam and crunch the numbers, something yours truly has already done:

At the height of the Vietnam War, we had 543,400 [soldiers] deployed to an area half the size of New Mexico [that being South Vietnam] and still lost. That being the case, didn't the Bush administration mislead the American public when it told us they only needed 100,000+ troops to secure an area nearly the size of California?

I should add that the 543,000 figure was solely US soldiers. If soldiers from other countries and South Vietnam's pathetic ARVN military are factored in, then the figure jumps to 1,000,000+ total soldiers in South Vietnam at the height of the Vietnam War.

South Vietnam is about half the size of New Mexico, while Iraq is roughly the size of California, and we don't even have 150,000 total soldiers in the country. There's no possible way we can secure Iraq without quadrupling the amount of soldiers we have there.

Furthermore, the draft boards were hiring last November. You know, just in case!

Will there be a draft if Bush is reelected? The answer is a resounding "Duuuuuhhh!"

Moronistan

In his latest column, Ted Rall presents a quiz poll workers should give to potential voters. If you fail, you don't vote!

Ready for the softballs?

1. Who is the vice president?

2. What is your state capital?

3. Name one of the following: your governor, congressman or one senator.

4. What is the capital of the United States?

5. Name one federal cabinet-level department.

Unfortunately, Ted's column is about how voters in this country are so fucking stupid that most of them would fail this quiz. So why should they be allowed to vote?

This headline almost says it all

"Bid to Save Tax Refunds for the Poor Is Blocked." And guess who blocked them.

But, but, global warming is a fallacy!

Nothing is fucked?!

Glaciers in Antarctica are thinning faster than they did in the 1990s and researchers have discovered an unexpected folded section deep beneath the ice cap, findings that may indicate the ice is less stable than had been thought.

Let's all do the happy hypocrite dance!

Isn't it funny how the right can't stop complaining about bias in the media, yet their favorite source for news is Fox?

I'm just saying.

Florida's ready to rock this Election Day

*Not a Loaded Mouth photoshop. Unfortunately, I don't know who did it. But it's just fucking great.

Another day, another massacre in Iraq

Raed in the Middle blogs about the US bombing innocent Iraqis.

This video shows a U.S. F-16 bombing a group of people, that the Washington times claims they are "terrorists" or "guerillas".

I don't really think 30 fighters would be walking slowly in the middle of a road while the sound of jet fighters is coming from the sky. I'm sure they know U.S. planes are not dropping flowers at them anymore.

And, for sure I wasn't amused by the comedian that seemed to be enjoying his time killing people, 'Ohhh, Dude' after the big explosion.
Isn't this one of the most irresponsible things that you can hear?
Doesn't such incidents increase and rationalize brutal reactions to the U.S.?
And, can't the sick dudes in the pentagon remove "ohhh, dude" if they didn't want us to hear it?

It's tough to win over hearts and minds when such items are shattered to a million little blood-splattered pieces.

Bush League Democracy

Millions of black people just won't be allowed to vote under der Bush's regime.

Shame.

Now presenting Loaded Mouth's No Shit! Moment of the Day

Headline: "U.S. Hand Seen in Afghan Election."

Come on, kids, say it with me on 3.. 2.. 1.. NO SHIT!

Sudan: More of the Same Shame

I think it's important to keep the genocide in Darfur as an issue on this blog. I don't see that many news stories about it anymore, and when I do run across something without specfically looking for it, the only new news is that nothing has changed. So it's tough to keep the story fresh because everytime I touch it, I feel like I'm beating a dead horse. So, in the interest of dead horse blogging, Amnesty International has a report from Darfur. More of the same...

The picture in Darfur is one of distress, denial and disappointment. Distress of people whose lives and livelihood have been destroyed, denial of responsibility by the Sudanese government and disappointment at the slow progress to resolve this crisis, concluded Amnesty International, the first international non-governmental human rights organisation to visit Sudan and meet with senior members of the Sudanese government, since the Darfur crisis began.

...Actually, here's an interesting perspective. How have Bush's human rights violations led to the crisis in Darfur?

"It has made it much harder for the U.S. to take on its self-described role as human rights leader," executive director for Amnesty International U.S. Bill Schulz told IPS.

Schulz, who returned from a visit to Darfur Tuesday as a member of an Amnesty team, said the visit showed that "the U.S. loses an effective voice as a moral force in the world because of a blotched record of its own."

He said that in about a third of all conversations with Sudanese government officials, they had brought up the U.S. human rights record.

The U.S. record had been raised by officials to "justify their own ill-advised practices," Schulz told media representatives earlier. But this showed that "if you commit human rights abuses yourself, you hand fodder to others to justify their deviations."

Sudanese officials had raised issues such as the detentions in Guantanamo Bay and the abuses at Abu Ghraib prison in Baghdad, Schulz said.

So where's Drudgegate? And how about Bushgate?

I've purposely avoided any mention of the memos "story" on this blog, save for the day the "story" broke, because that "story" is essentially a huge rightwing circle jerk. It's Glenn Reynolds and his ilk in the 101 Fightin' Keyboarders all sitting at their computers going, "Oh Rathergate! Oh Rathergate! Ooooohhhhhhhhh!," and blowing a load on their monitors. That's really all it is.

But mulling over this bullshit has me wondering where Drudgegate is. Remember back in February, Drudge claimed that Kerry had an affair with an intern? Remember how he was, uhm, dead wrong? I had some choice words for the incident.

Drudge and his partisan bias jumped the gun, and worse yet, he was dead wrong. The man is not a journalist, he's a hack. In a just world, everyone would agree that the man has no credibility after pulling this.

Drudge can purposely lie about a presidential candidate in an attempt to ruin his political career, yet I bet you that Glenn never said Drudge's name 25 times on his blog to report the scandal. Why is this? Is it because Glen's also a partisan hack?

And where's Bushgate? The man lied about Iraq's nonexistent WMDs and connections to global terrorism. His lies have directly caused the deaths of over 1000 US soldiers. Yet partisan hack jobs like Glen are silent on the issue.

Silent. 1000+ dead, and conversative bloggers like Glenn couldn't give a flying fuck.

Think about that the next time they jerk each other off about memos.

Defining Psychotic

As of 03:52, 9/23, the number of times Dan Rather is mentioned on Instapundit's main page: 25

Number of times "CBS" is mentioned: 19

Jesus. When Glenn beats off, does he think about Rather then, too?

"Cigarette drug rape"

First women had to be leery of who serves them drinks, now anyone (man) who gives them a cigarette is suspect.

A man has been released on bail by police investigating the alleged drug rape of a woman in Swansea.

Police believe she may have accepted a cigarette dipped in embalming fluid. She woke up the next morning in a Swansea guest house.

She became "giddy and disorientated" after taking the cigarette offered by two men in a nightspot last Friday.

Unseen footage from Bush's latest UN speech

What if the U.S. was Iraq?

Juan Cole, proving once again that he's a genius, gives us a different perspective to view Iraq from.

President Bush said Tuesday that the Iraqis are refuting the pessimists and implied that things are improving in that country.

What would America look like if it were in Iraq's current situation? The population of the US is over 11 times that of Iraq, so a lot of statistics would have to be multiplied by that number.

Thus, violence killed 300 Iraqis last week, the equivalent proportionately of 3,300 Americans. What if 3,300 Americans had died in car bombings, grenade and rocket attacks, machine gun spray, and aerial bombardment in the last week? That is a number greater than the deaths on September 11, and if America were Iraq, it would be an ongoing, weekly or monthly toll.

And what if those deaths occurred all over the country, including in the capital of Washington, DC, but mainly above the Mason Dixon line, in Boston, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco?

What if the grounds of the White House and the government buildings near the Mall were constantly taking mortar fire? What if almost nobody in the State Department at Foggy Bottom, the White House, or the Pentagon dared venture out of their buildings, and considered it dangerous to go over to Crystal City or Alexandria? ...

Read the whole thing, bunky.

Blogging in Exile

It's 9/23/04, 00:42, and as I type this, I have no clue when it will be posted to the blog because my server and email have been down for over two hours now. I hate apologizing for things that aren't my fault, but I assure you that the site will be on a new server soon - hopefully next week. For those thinking about getting their own domain or switching their site to another server, don't give your money to PHPwebhosting.com. Their "service" is just plain terrible, I can't run Wordpress, and I can't even install Drupal.

...02:12 now, and my web host "providers" are still down. This is absolutely fucking ridiculous.

...02:28, the site is back up. And it's about damn fucking time.

We get letters, we get letters, lots an lots of letters... Letteeeerrrrrs!

I just received this letter from someone at the International Planned Parenthood Federation. I usually don't touch letters that want me to advertise something, but this one seemed more personalized then a typical piece of spam, and what they have to say deserves some notice.

Subject: Let's blog on "nose jobs and liposuction but no abortions?!"

Hi!

I thought your readers might be interested in this outrageous injustice to our women in the military, particularly those serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Might you consider posting something about International Planned Parenthood Federation’s petition to Congress regarding this topic on Loaded Mouth?

The petition is online at: http://www.freechoicesaveslives.org/campaign/military?source=blogs.
Please let me know if you’d like to know more (information is also available at: http://www.freechoicesaveslives.org/campaign/military/explanation).

Actually, I did write about this on 7/22/04, though I neglected to mention the abortion aspect of the story. Now the story's complete and you have a petition to sign, so hop to it. And this concludes the latest edition of Loaded Mouth's "tas will shamelessly pander to anybody who gives his inbox attention."

This just in...

The man formerly known as Cat Stevens has gone on a rampage in New York City. Screaming "ALLAH AKBAR!" and brandishing assault weapons made legal by the Bush administration last week, Stevens shot up several streets before climbing on the peace train and proceeding to behead a few passengers before blowing himself up...

Just kidding. He's still not allowed in the country, though.

This morning, you're going to hear a lot about Iran enriching uranium

But you probably won't hear much about Israel's impending purchase of 5000 smart bombs from the US. If stories like this received more play, then more people may know why Iran wants nuclear weapons.

You know it's a slow news day when...

When you're listening to NPR and they say that cheese consumption is up. Now that's just cheesy reporting.

Oh yeah, this will fix EVERYTHING

Stupidity at work.

The president said he was hoping that the visit by the pro-America Iraqi leader -- Bush will meet with Allawi at the White House on Thursday -- will convince Americans that "progress is being made" in Iraq despite grim television images of violence there.

What a great idea! Maybe Bush should invite other Iraqi leaders to the White House! You know, all those great leaders that run the parts of Iraq where US troops and Iraqi police aren't allowed! I can't wait for Bush's photo-op with the mayor of Fallujah.

So much for freedom

Feminist Majority reports that the House voted to allow doctors not only to allow doctors to refuse to perform abortions on moral grounds, but they can also refuse to refer a woman looking for an abortion to another doctor.

Isn't it funny that doctors can refuse abortions and birth control, yet viagra is perfectly OK? What would happen if a doctor said to a man, "No, it's against my beliefs to give you viagra." Could you imagine the uproar?

This just in from the "You've GOT to be fucking kidding me" department

Yusuf Islam, who used to be known as Cat Stevens, is barred from entering the U.S. because he's on a terrorist watch list.

A London-to-Washington flight was diverted to Maine on Tuesday when it was discovered passenger Yusuf Islam — formerly known as singer Cat Stevens — was on a government watch list and barred from entering the country, federal officials said.

United Airlines Flight 919 was en route to Dulles International Airport when the match was made between a passenger and a name on the watch list, said Nico Melendez, a spokesman for the Transportation Security Administration. The plane was met by federal agents at Maine's Bangor International Airport around 3 p.m., Melendez said.

Homeland Security Department spokesman Dennis Murphy identified the passenger as Islam. "He was interviewed and denied admission to the United States on national security grounds," Murphy said, and would be put on the first available flight out of the country Wednesday.

I'm speechless.

When the mainstream media doesn't report the truth, Michael Moore will

And thank god.

The polls are wrong. They are all over the map like diarrhea. On Friday, one poll had Bush 13 points ahead -- and another poll had them both tied. There are three reasons why the polls are b.s.: One, they are polling "likely voters." "Likely" means those who have consistently voted in the past few elections. So that cuts out young people who are voting for the first time and a ton of non-voters who are definitely going to vote in THIS election. Second, they are not polling people who use their cell phone as their primary phone. Again, that means they are not talking to young people. Finally, most of the polls are weighted with too many Republicans, as pollster John Zogby revealed last week. You are being snookered if you believe any of these polls.

Want Moore?

No, it is not. If I hear one more person tell me how lousy a candidate Kerry is and how he can't win... Dammit, of COURSE he's a lousy candidate -- he's a Democrat, for heavens sake! That party is so pathetic, they even lose the elections they win!

And even Moore!

WAKE UP! The majority are with us! More than half of all Americans are pro-choice, want stronger environmental laws, are appalled that assault weapons are back on the street -- and 54% now believe the war is wrong. YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO CONVINCE THEM OF ANY OF THIS -- YOU JUST HAVE TO GIVE THEM A RAY OF HOPE AND A RIDE TO THE POLLS. CAN YOU DO THAT? WILL YOU DO THAT?

This reminds me, I should shoot upto NH and do some stumping for Kerry.

Oh lawrd!

This is great.

OK, the template has almost been restored. There's some minor adjustments to be made later tonight. I've been up for 24 hours and I have a doctors appointment this afternoon, so I have to sleep sometime...

Operation OUTROVE: The Smoking Gun

While serving as Governor of Texas, George W. Bush was guilty of fostering corruption in order to salvage his political career. Because his administration cultivated a climate of criminal activity, GTech scored a contract worth hundreds of millions, and former Texas Speaker of the House Ben Barnes and his associate walked away with a $23.1 million payoff.

After reading Greg Palast's article detailing a letter sent to the US Justice Department about a deal between George W. Bush, Ben Barnes, and GTech, it caused me to do some of my own research. The letter was sent anonymously and includes some mistakes, but I have no doubt that its author is a reliable source because the Justice Department received the letter before 1997. As my research reveals, Barnes didn't receive his payoff until 1997, and I can personally attest to the fact that most details about this story weren't reported until 1999. Whoever sent this letter not only had prior knowledge to events that were about to happen, but also fingered then Governor Bush himself for helping to setup a deal between GTech and Ben Barnes.

As early as 1996, GTech knew they were in danger of losing their lottery services contract in Texas, worth $150 million a year. [Houston Chronicle, 2/20/98] In November of that year, a conflict with GTech arose when the Texas Lottery Commission started questioning the corporations's "high-dollar consulting contracts." [Austin American-Statesman, 2/2798] Then in December, it was revealed that GTech hired Mike Moeller as a consultant. Moeller just happened to be a longtime friend and future husband to then-Texas Lottery Director Nora Linares. [ibid]

These actions highlight the mindset of a corporation that has a history of committing shady actions in order to wield political influence. In 1994, J. David Smith, GTech's former national sales manager, had to resign amid charges that he received kickbacks from high priced GTech consultants and paid off officials in states where the corporation was trying to land contracts. The federal case against Smith failed, but he was found guilty in a case in New Jersey. [Atlanta Journal and Constitution, 1/20/98] He was sentenced to 5 years in prison. [New York Times, 10/9/98]

Knowing GTech's mindset helps to explain why they signed Ben Barnes to a multi-million dollar contract to be their chief lobbyist in Texas. Not only was Barnes Texas' former Lt. Governor and able to wield some political influence, but while serving as Texas Speaker of the House, Barnes was directly responsible for placing George W. Bush into the Texas Air National Guard so he could avoid fighting in Vietnam. He wouldn't admit to this until 1999, when he had to under oath. [Houston Chronicle, 9/28/99] Before then, this was only a rumor that Barnes refused to confirm. If he did confirm it at the time, it could have ended Bush's budding political career.

But where Barnes really earned his millions from GTech is when they bought out his contract for $23.1 million in February, 1997. [Washington Post, 9/21/99] (The contract was also with Barnes' associate Ricky Knox.) It was reported that GTech bought out the contract because of "damaging publicity stemming from the criminal prosecution in New Jersey of a top Gtech executive," but Lawrence Littwin has a different idea on why Barnes received millions from GTech.

Littwin is the former director of the Texas Lottery Commission who led a charge to get the contract rebid and out of GTech's hands. He was fired in October, 1997, after 4 months on the job. In turn, Littwin sued GTech, claiming that his firing was a "result of political influence" by GTech. Barnes $23 million pay off was cited in this lawsuit, and it led to him being subpoenaed because "Gtech's political clout was bolstered by Barnes' political clout." [AP, 9/22/99] This lawsuit was eventually settled out of court, where GTech gave Littwin $300,000 as long as Littwin "admits that he has no personal knowledge of any of the criminal activity alleged in support of his claims against Gtech," and, "give to Gtech or destroy all documents produced by the litigation, including transcripts of Barnes' deposition." [Austin American-Statesman, 10/30/99]

While many lawsuits are settled by corporations simply to save on the costs of legal fees, there's reason to believe that GTech settled this lawsuit because they were guilty of everything that Littwin accused them of. Why would GTech settle if Littwin didn't have evidence to back up his claims? To put Littwin's case in a different light, let me use an example: This blogger once had a job interview at GTech and wasn't hired by the company. If I tried suing them for discrimination, do you think I would get a $300,000 settlement? No, of course not, because I don't have any proof to back up my accusations.

This is where the anonymous letter sent to the US Justice Department before 1997 comes into play, because whoever wrote this letter already had evidence that Bush, Barnes, and GTech made a deal before the pay off actually happened. From the letter: "Governor Bush thru Reggie Bashur made a deal with Ben Barnes not to rebid because Barnes could confirm that Bush had lied during the 94 campaign ... Bashur was sent to talk to Barnes who agreed never to confirm the story and the Governor talked to the Chair of the Lottery two days later and she then agreed to support letting Gtech keep the contract without a bid."

You may be asking who this Reggie Bashur person is. Well, Bashur was a former aide to Governor Bush who left his staff to become a lobbyist for GTech. [Austin American-Statesman, 10/30/99] It would be pure speculation to assume that Bush knowingly sent a representative from GTech to be his point man in making a deal with Barnes, but it's rather curious that Bashur met with Barnes before 1997, Barnes ends up with $23 million from GTech in 1997, and Bashur later becomes a corporate lobbyist for GTech. All of these events happening doesn't sound like a mere coincidence.

In the end, all parties received exactly what they wanted. Barnes didn't reveal that Bush lied about how he got into the Texas Air National Guard (until he was forced to under oath), GTech didn't lose the Texas State Lottery contract worth $150 million a year, and Barnes got millions of dollars. Somebody had evidence of a deal between all three parties before 1997, before they all received what they wanted. There's no question that Bush knew what was happening, but he fostered a culture of corruption all for his own personal gain.

And in other news...

Would it kill the Red Sox to score a fucking run? Jesus.

...After I posted this, they scored 6 runs. But Baltimore scored 10. So, hmph.

My summary Operation OUTROVE piece is done, and it will be posted first thing tomorrow morning. It's quarter past 10 right now, so that means you'll see it in two and a half hours or less.

Operation OUTROVE delayed

I was working on the final article when I just received some new information that changes half the article and places a big twist on the story. I have to goto the library and do some more research to make sure everything is accurate.

More later.

...It's 7:37, and I'm still writing. Not that it's long or anything, but I just want to make sure my researrch checks out, and I'm making a HTML file out of every article I reference so my notes won't be questioned. Which means after every paragraph, I have to look at my notes and see where I got the information from, make a file out of it... Rather time consuming. I should have kept better notes in the first place, though.

Blogging like a dog

I'll be working on a final Operation OUTROVE piece this morning, and getting that posted as soon as possible. In the meantime, here's a picture of Mac with his new best friend, a can of soup.

...On second thought, screw the post. I'm bloody tired and going to bed. Deadline this afternoon...?
